It's a great comeback album but does not touch RD. You're trippin son.

After a few more listens, I don't know if anyone said this yet but Recovery is like Eminem's version of Paper Trail.

T.I. put out a wack album in T.I. vs T.I.P. got back on his writing grind and released probably his most radio friendly album ever with Paper Trail. The same can be noticed with Eminem cuz Relapse was disliked by most (not me BTW) and he pretty much went a totally different route with this album and made a concerned effort to make this album sound like current popular rap albums. He did that by finally stepping out the box and working with new producers and collaborating with popular artists for the first time in his career (on his own album at least).

A lot of over the top hating and praising on this album, I just can't wait to see if anyone is still thinking about it months from now. That's been the problem with most Eminem albums sans MMLP, they had very little replay value as time went by. Yall can hate the route Drake went on his album if you want but you're lying to yourself if you don't think he has several songs on TML that will blow up.

Recovery > RD?

 it amazes me how yall can make these rediculous !$* claims when the album has only been out for a few days. Even if it was out for decades it still ain't touching RD and even Eminem would tell you that.

I really thought i was going to hate this album. But I am really impressed.


I thought relapse was one of the worst things iv heard in a while. But you really couldn't ask for anything else on this album. If this were to have come out right after MM or Eminem show everyone would be saying this is another classic. If you wipe out Encore, and Relapse, he is untouchable.

ill admit I didnt listen to Relapse that much and I hardly ever go back and play his back catalog but the HEAVY punchline thing I feel is new

He has so many of them on the album n the reaction is more of "ohh here is another punchline"...than "man that issh was dope"

I agree with that. But I love the album because it reminds me of the old Eminem. "Seduction","No Love" and "Cold Wind Blows" are my favorite tracks.
