I think I'm in the same boat as everyone else thinking that the headliners are pretty weak this year. With that said I'm pretty stoked about the undercard. In the grand scheme of things I can live with weak headliners if the undercard is good. I'll just go see something else to end my night.

With regards to Daft Punk showing up for Phoenix, it almost seems too predictable. I want to see DP just as much as anyone, but I want new material and a new show as opposed to them popping up on stage for one or two songs.
 
i really hope that i can catch beachhouse and some other people at the ACE, usually the coachella acts drop by and do surprise sets.

thats one of the only good things about living in the desert.
 
Don't really care too much about the headliners, but the undercard is super stacked. SO much better than last years lineup. Got me a week 1 pass yesterday so I'm ready!

This year's electronic lineup is sooo much better. I'm super stoked for Disclosure myself and the less bro-ing going on about the fest is an added plus.

Going weekend 1 and I AM SO EXCITED. We're camping but we also have friends that got a condo so we'll be able to shower and eat and such.

The producer of the Coachella and Stagecoach festivals is teaming with PS Resorts, the Spa Resort Casino, Harold Matzner and The Desert Sun to promote a major free concert in downtown Palm Springs between the two Coachella weekends.

Tachevah: A Palm Springs Block Party will be an open-air concert Wednesday evening, April 17 in the parking lots of the Spa Resort Casino.

The project stems from an idea by The Desert Sun to showcase emerging local musical talent. The concert will feature a headliner booked by Goldenvoice and a Goldenvoice-recommended DJ to perform between sets by three unsigned opening acts.

The selection process for the three opening bands began Thursday. Regional bands are invited to submit music videos at mydesert.com/tachevah. Those videos will be reviewed by a panel including Goldenvoice officials Paul Tollett and Skip Paige, and Desert Sun entertainment reporter Bruce Fessier. The panel will select the performers. Those artists also will be considered for subsequent Goldenvoice engagements.

this sounds pretty cool, i live here in palm springs and id love to go see a headliner for free not to mention the Dj.

Still going to week one?!

This is my vacation this year and even though the headliners suck, there are a bunch of acts I wanna catch.
 
I don't know what I'm doing. I didn't like the lineup + didn't have money. I was going to try to get a cheap pass for like 250 the week before but said nah. Now tickets are $239 already and are only gonna get lower (ESPECIALLY for Weekend 2) so who knows you might see me :lol:

Oh yeah and if anyone wants a Weekend 2 pass check eBay and Stubhub. DIRT CHEAP

good luck finding tix for $239 with Daft Punk on the lineup.

and Tre you rollin' out Weekend 1? there's only 3 of us at our campsite so we should have plenty of room if you need a place to crash. if tix keep dropping I might **** around and go Weekend 2 as well :lol:
 
Im JUICED... the EDM line up is so good this year. Pretty Lights, Eric Prydz, Bassnectar, Tommy Trash, Thomas Gold, Hardwell, TNGHT, Baauer, Bingo Players, etc. 

Hopefully next year has a better hip hop line up tho.
