Oh word? So Gasol guarded Howard? And It was Gasol who lead the lakers past the Celtics in the first meetin...oh wait.
Do some of you guys even watch basketball? Bynum creates matchup nightmares.

Boston is the only team that matches up size wise and would be a problem.

And two of there big guys Shaq and the corpse of Jermaine O'Neal can't stay healthy.

If all of the C's big guys are there yea it would be a problem, but the likelihood of that coming to fruition isn't high as well.

Kobe/Pau/Melo/Odom is a formidable a foursome that the league will have.

At this point, you can't give up Gallo and/or Fields. Most they get is Chandler and some other pieces.

Donnie will stick to his guns, though.
he better...im a lil sick they givin up chandler as it is.....

Y'all act like the Knicks are good. They've improved but they wouldnt make the playoffs if they were in the West. The hype on this team kills me.

I don't think I did it on this SN, but I called the Lakers as a long shot for Melo.

Gasol for Gasol now Bynum for Melo. The charity is amazing here lol.

Kobe/Pau/Melo/Odom is a formidable a foursome that the league will have.
add orlando, san antonio in that mix. even if boston is the only team that would be size issue then why let them have the advantage? kobe/pau/melo/odom como would be a formidable foursome in the offensive side but what about the defensive side? kg, timmy and dwight would have feast inside on pau/odom. rondo, parker would get them in foul trouble.

first off, i would not trade drew for melo. we dont need another kobe on this team. size is our advantage so why would we get rid of that. granted, i would trade drew because of his constant injuries but not for melo. second if this trade were to go down, we better get nene as well. i'm only trading bynum for another big guy like noah or nene. hell, i would be much more excited for picking a brooke lopez instead of melo.

yes melo to the Lakers sounds tempting but thats not what we need right now.

Its the Reg season. Any team can beat another team on any given night. Except for the Cavs maybe
laugh.gif
.

Theyd problably make the playoffs in the West too.

i think this trade would hurt la in the short run. mainly because they are giving up size and i dont think kobe and melo would play well together. but this is still a good trade for the lakers because it keeps melo in la after kobe retires and when they could potentially sign dwight as a free agent.

Why dudes acting like Kobe only playing 2 more years? That boy a competitor and he probably gonna wanna play til he 40.

What makes you say that? I'm not sure how Melo would fit into the triangle mid-season, but I think it would be a problem for the league if Kobe and Melo had summer workouts and a full training camp together. BTW, who would coach LA if Phil retires this season?
