***Official Breakfast Club Interview Thread***

I went to college with this kid back in the day who was from Idaho and moved to bay to go to my University. Homie was 19 pushing a Range Rover, dude dressed like he was outta Malibu Most Wanted. I met his mom and everything her family owned farms in Idaho, sweet lady. He dummy of a son was obsessed with living that life.

He had a spot in Oakland that his moms paid for, and this dude had that **** set up like a trap house :{ :lol. I had to work on a project and I would be at his house this one weekend and this kid had random dudes bagging up weed **** looked like that scene from Straight Outta Compton wine Eazy went broke :lol. He had this one former college bball player act like his fake muscle.

To all my Bay Area head y'all remember that murder in Emeryville in the IKEA parking lot back 2010? That was this clown. Him and his fake *** click of friends decided arrange to buy weed from a licensed grower his found on Craigslist of all players and then rob them. They set up a meet in at IKEA in in the middle of a work day, and when the dealer shows jump out with guns. Little did they know the dealer being a legit grower had hired actual private security as back up. They shoot out breaks out, the former Bball player is dead, the wannabe and his girl friend get hit they flee the scene and the dealer and her shooters are cleared of all charges on the grounds of self defense. Meanwhile the police catch up with this idiot and his girl. She flips on all of them and under California law, since their crime lead to a homicide the wannabe thug got charged with murder despite him. Not firing a shot, he ended up doing 6 years in prison as we speak .

Look it up if y'all don't believe me :lol

Wow. What a way to go out...

That Berg interview was cool

I knew he was on the producing tip but to see him really glo up the way he has is :hat

Nothing but respect

That's like this dude I knew from Upper Marlboro (Maryland people know) both parents drove BMW's, single family house, but son was determined to sell weed just cuz. Me and the homies would ask him "what you selling weed for" and he just be like "I'm tryna gotta get this chicken"

We would just look like him like

And people got tired of Gates act. Dudes ain't gotta do all this dumb **** for attention. At some point people just stop taking you serious. But this is the era where people love attention more than anything else.

I couldn't make it past 3 minutes in that video. Dude is a straight up clown. I lost brain cells looking at that.

It's an act, but it's not needed lol.

His last 3 mixtapes have been fire though.

He is basically still a kid from the hood so his social skill are lacking but you can tell from his music he's bright. His music is real **** but he's going the ****** rap lane and people will just dismiss him as another Lil Yachty or Uzi.

Yup. He don't even need to do that :{ :lol.

***** been hanging out with Blac Youngsta too much. Kodak wasn't even on this type of **** before he went in the box.

Kodak black trying to go the chief keef interview route.. also.. this dude got ZERO people in his corner who got some industry history to get this dude a publicist so he can adress things in the press.. and having your shotters and local dudes around you when you making legal money is going to haunt you industry wise too.

Gates is also one of 2-3 rappers that got certified Plat last year

You realize in about 30mins to 1 hour this is gonna be ALL over social media right bro?

We in a era were two different rap groups got #1 records partly due to meme's cooked up by digital consultant agencies (Interscope hired Pizzaslime and they did the Black Beatles Mannequin Challenge ****) and we really questioning why he would go up there like that

Man being the hood ain't got **** to do with it, boy just simple :lol

A by product of the record labels not being necessary to get on is there's no more artist development. Dudes just are built to move anymore in the public eye.
