No worrries buddy. I will say, they are boot cut jeans. I'm 43 and don't wear this skinny crap that's in right now. Plus I have Crohn's and I can't wear restrictive clothes. Puts too much pressure on my mid section. Plus, I bought these when I was up to 197 (I'm 6") and I get a size larger as I wear thermals underneath, but by cutting out all sugary drinks from November 1st, I lost 25 lbs. (got down to 172 but now I'm at about 184 as I got an increase in Prednisone for my Crohn's). That's why they are a little bit. That and the cut.

I definitely will post on the custom when it's done. Can't wait to start it.

Being out on disability has its benefits. For one, always work Saturdays and could never do anything together with my wife. So being off for the rest of February through May 1st, we decided to go out to Cherry Hill Mall to walk around (when it's cold out, it's not fun walking around the neighborhood so we go to malls to do it).

Decided to wear my VERY MUCH loved and worn 1994 Jordan 1 Chicagos today! They are holding up rather well considering they are now going on 26 years old. Gonna have to break out the Barge cement this week to glue some spots on the soles to the upper, but all in all, not too bad.

I think I'll work on restoring these a bit while I'm home. Gotta make them look a little better, but I do actually like the yellowed midsole. Gives it that vintage look. I mean, they are over a quarter century old.

And also, while I post these, I have a new addition...

Yup, a pair of Jordan 1 Bloodlines! These are better than what people gave them credit for. The leather is nice and the shoe in general is just well done. And I honestly don't mind the red trim....BUT, these are not staying like this. As soon as I get my shipments from Amazon and Angelus, I will be turning these into a pair of Chicagos! The videos I watched are pretty easy. I'm very handy and knowledgeable when it comes to painting (built umteen model cars when. I was younger). It's going to be a fun project that as long as it works the way I imagine (and hope) I'll buy another pair (this pair was funded by a Valentine's Day Nike GC from my wife) and make a black/red 1 ! And for that custom, I will be using a bright red like my 2001 pair.

Having done that I’d suggest two things: 1) cut out the red piping around everything but the swoosh; then paint the swish piping black - a paint pen worked really well for this. 2) use a matte finisher and not the regular angelus finisher. Mine came out too shiny.

Having done that I’d suggest two things: 1) cut out the red piping around everything but the swoosh; then paint the swish piping black - a paint pen worked really well for this. 2) use a matte finisher and not the regular angelus finisher. Mine came out too shiny.

Hey buddy, thanks for the tips. I actually bought the matte finisher from Angelus. Just gotta get my airbrush out for it as I want that to be sprayed on.

And I actually like the piping, not gonna lie. I thought of getting a new exact-o knife and cut it off but I think for now, it's gonna stay. Though I may change my mind by the time I do this. I'd definitely leave it on the swoosh as it makes it larger (and 85s had a larger swoosh).

Could you post up pics of your custom? And which red did you use? I plan on using Red Fire instead of regular red.

Thank you very much. If you know what Crohn's is (from anyone you know who suffers from it) you know how bad of a disease it is. It's awful and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I've dealt with this since I was 16 when it was Ulcerative Colitus and even had surgery for it. But it was actually Crohn's the entire time. The time off is solely to have ZERO stress to help my insides heal. At my worst late last year, I was using the men's room anywhere from 15-35 times a day!

Yeah, you said that before and I remember thinking...I’ll keep it not gross, but ouch. I worked in hospitals for 4 years, plus time in the VA when I was a corpsman, so I’ve seen enough to know that any bowel disease is bad, and crohn’s is just awful. I honestly wish you nothing but health and a speedy remission.

If you decide on Humira, make sure to ask for the Humira Pen instead of the syringe, bro. You can see both in the picture, along with some 1s to not be completely off topic.
