I can assure you they're highs lol. Nine eyelets, NA tag and nothin' on the heel.... Pretty comfy, too. Weird having that carmine nubuck material on them, but they're nice nonetheless. My soles are still pretty blue 7 yrs later, too.

Black KAWS 4s dropped steadily after release, at which point I sold mine. Now they're worth a lot lol. Also I believe Wings 12s and the various OVOs all went down quite a bit after release.

i would say Union 1s. Both colorways dropped to around $600 a few weeks after release then skyrocketed from there.

rise before release date and then drop after release date? Almost every shoe lol, recent notable would be the AMM3. It was selling for $1k before release date and then dipped all the way down to low $400 shortly after release date.

Unless you meant what shoe only rise after release date and didn't really dip. OW 4 come to mind, everyone thought a mens size version was coming but it didn't. OW 2 price rose but that was more due to virgil's death.

I would like to believe almost any shoe pre release goes for more just for being able to just have early access...but not taking into consideration those price points. I meant once a shoe is released... have any ever gone up in value then dip again afterwards?

Release date - sells out, resale platform prices are high
Next 1-2 weeks prices dip
Then it’s a slow gradual increase from there

I went with the faded black Foxtrot laces for my Royals. Looks much better in my opinion

What you're asking, then, is "have the laws of supply and demand ever stopped being applicable to a pair of sneakers." Yeah, occasionally you'll get someone willing to sell something for below market value, but I don't know if I've ever seen anything plummet across the board without a large restock (Yeezy 350 Zebras, for example) impacting it. Whenever there's a finite number of something the price will almost always increase as long as there's any interest in it at all.

Zebras due to come to my mind. Prices were nearly slashed in half once the 2nd drop happened lol.

I don't know where you're checking the data for this, but if I can recall correctly, the OVO 10 and the PSNY 12 did what you're asking. It did go up after release and gradually went up and stayed up and then it took a huge plunge afterwards. I think DSM 1's did that and I think the Don C 2's did that as well. People just started to lose interest after a while and moved on to the next hype thing and the few people holding on to resell missed their big cash out opportunity and had to price is low.

I know the Pharrell NMD definitely did that. I have the OG set of colors and I still have them and wear them but I have checked the prices and they have dipped a lot after maintaining a high value for a while.

You're right about all the shoes posted. I think the Yellow Human Races were the most sought after...resale prices is kind of all over the place. Same with the Red pair.
