i got my pair from Nike SF and another from Footaction online when they originally released in '01 and neither came with a case. Pretty sure you're mistaking them with the recent retro.

If any one is looking for just the case it might be cheaper to track down the 16.5s that came with a case

I'm almost positive the silver '01 additions came with a suitcase as well as the more recent anniversaries. I've been wanting the japans for a while but it's rare to find a 12.5/13... there was a 12.5 in the blacks on the bay awhile but those are my least favorite out of the three and he wanted 900 bones

Japan's did come with a case, at least some of them did. US release was the face box. Have any evidence of the suitcase in the US?

That silver pair is definitely one of my faves retro+ And I've been looking for a pair myself. Corgi had agreed to sell me a pair then backed out and offered another half size smaller. Smh

Sorry. I read that wrong. I thought it said 10'. The 2009-10 ish version came with the briefcase. Lol I think they dropped in 09. I got my first pair for $60 from a nike outlet in 2010.

Yea sorry for the the confusion - I meant the Japan addition came with the suitcase and the US mids came in a face box, the annis came with the suitcase as well I just can't get with that material on them. I would love a set of the japans though, the prices are outrageous on the bigger sizes though :x there's actually the all white with hits of navy on the bay right now in a 13 for 899 plus shipping. Same dude that had the blacks in a 12.5
