13/44 brackets died last night on a high level with the Lakers being eliminated. If you had the Lakers in the Finals your bracket is basically dead as well.

For an achilles it was. Majority of players don't even return to close to form after a tear/ruptured achilles. KD looks like Dubs KD right now. So for the injury I'd say yeah it was.

KD Put in 12 elite years of play with 4 finals runs with little injuries. The other guys not so much it would make sense for him to get hurt and load managed more as he ages . The other guys are much younger than him and played much less games

In case of emergency, break glass, AD is the glass... he's broken and suited up and Bron wearing shoes from 2 designs ago in an effort to get stella's groove back...and pau's 40 yr old baby brother gets the start....nothing's working...down 30....AD moving like he's avoiding stepping on land mines...groin begins to convulse....Davis collapses...
Lead grows....fire starts to brew in the Lakers..more aggression...more fire....more aggression...more fire...lead is falling..crowd is in it....more energy...more fire....embers...burn...fire engulfing..flames..heat.....infern....oh wait...is that...yeah...never mind....here comes kuzma with a wet blanket and some cocoa. False alarm.

Dang, You watch more Laker games than actual Laker fans. If you're so obsessed, you should just become a Lakers fan.
2018-19: We were the four seed before LeBron's injury where he missed the subsequent 20 games. We never got back on track after that and missed the playoffs.
2019-20: We get AD and dominant the league. Lakers won the West by five games, at no point was it even competitive. We carry this into the playoffs and have one of the most dominant playoff runs ever (5 losses is tied for the 2nd fewest ever for a champion)
2020-21: despite the historically short turnaround, we still start the season with the second best record 21-6, prior to Anthony Davis's injury. We never get back on track after AD goes down.
No matter how much you try to go back and revise history, it doesn't change what actually happened

For sure. But the Nets also have one of the most cautious medical teams in the league. Plus, they have the luxury of Kyrie and Harden which allowed them to be as cautious as they wanted.
Even before the KD years, under the new regime, they have sat players an extended period of time for injuries.
But it will be interesting to see how KD holds up as he progresses through his career. He's had the foot injury and achilles injuyr.
