How will that help this problem? Its clearly both sides, they are arguing over their political and individual self interest, the american people are just caught in the middle. Removing one worthless sack of crap politician to be replaced by another worthless sack of crap they all view the people like trash. If all parties agree on the stimulus do a bill with just that but they don't want to do that because that won't help them individually or politically and both parties have nothing but contempt for the people.

So far these are the only states (Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico and Utah) that have confirmed they'll pay the extra money.
South Dakota has said they will NOT.

when does it go into effect? Michigan won't either but they applied for the $300

From what I've gathered, it is retroactive from 8/1. It will take about 2 to 4 weeks for the states to implement it. Its funded by FEMA, and FEMA said theres only enough money for about 3 or 4 weeks if everyone on UI gets the boost. So most people will get one retroactive check, in September from anywhere between $900.00 and $1200.00 depending on the state. That's all IF this doesnt go to court, before the money goes out. Not my info just things I've picked up in other message boards.
