Maybe it would take like Baron Davis getting injured in 2002

And JWill playing for the Knicks or something

You’re still if ignoring the stats I presented in the Luka convo btw
On my phone. I will look when I get near a PC-CD ROM.

Are you serious with this Jason Williams talk?

Why are you remotely confident in thinking that was even a possibility?

Bibby didn’t make an all star team and he was better than J Will

It is incredibly irritating to watch
Theres somethings that just have me dumbfounded watching sports. Of course its easy for me to say all this as a spectator  but **** like

Continually putting up 3s when theyre not falling, instead of attacking the basket and getting a 2 and possibly getting fouled (houston rockets game 4 im looking at you). Then getting a stop on the other end and shifting momentum.

Poor free throw shooting.

Not basketball, but when mans cant get a sacrifice bunt down in MLB. That **** has me dumbfounded.

The convo was favourite players that maybe could have made an all-star or 2

I’m not saying he’d be a lock as a starter or anything. I’m just saying he was a fan fav entertainment wise and he put up ok games a couple years. Maybe if he was in a bigger market or a more ideal situation he could have maybe been an all-star once or twice.

I think you’re putting too much thought into it.

I am putting too much thought into it by shooting it down and calling it a ridiculous claim?

It took me ZERO thought to come to that conclusion.

ZERO.

Jason Williams wasn't good enough. Point Blank

Ok cool, not a hill i’m gonna die on

Just remember Antonio Davis, Anthony Mason, and Theo Ratliff were all-stars

If anything, playing in MEM was the best thing that happened to Jason Williams's career. He played his best basketball under Hubie Brown. He damn sure wouldn't have ended up being a key role player for the Championship Heat team had he not be "tamed" in MEM. Jason Williams was my dude, I hated to see him leave SAC, but Bibby was clearly better. Yall trippin.

Then you named THE KNICKS as if that would have made him better.

as long as AD's jumper is wet, he's essentially unstoppable. What annoys me is when his jumper isn't falling and he won't attack smaller defenders.

Got me watching him like..

Being a fan favourite in a big market wouldn’t have improved his chances?

It wouldn't have mattered.

He wasn't going to get VOTED in.

Coaches weren't going to vote him in.

Why are you automatically assuming he would have PLAYED better.

Here, pick a year. Which year do you want to toy with?

I agree with all of this but the last 5 words.

And admittedly, it's probably more that I probably just don't like the last 5 words.

I LOVED seeing JWill go to Hubie. I constantly told people that Hubie 'corralled' him so to speak. It was beautiful. DEFINITELY set the stage for him to play the role he did in Miami.

There were TOO many PGs back then for him to have a shot at an ASG, though.

MAN I loved watching him. Also couldn't STAND BIB10, but more because I couldn't stand that whining, flopping squad he lead.
