I was going to bring this up in response to one of your earlier posts. Everyone wants fans back in arenas but I don’t know how quickly that will happen or the initial capacity level when it does. But are you essentially saying that you’re going to side-eye all accomplishments that aren’t achieved under pre-pandemic conditions (ie regular arenas with fans)?

It would be a dramatic shift but it we’ve seen them in the past. In theory, it would just be a new era where an aspect of the game was changed but interestingly it would be a more intangible change in comparison to something like the addition/modification of the 3-point line.



What do you mean by “the real thing”? Is what we’re watching considered “fake hoops”? Travel, fans and home court determine the authenticity of professional basketball?
