I get that. I just think the minutia of a season (traveling, away games etc.) should matter. Neutral courts especially with no crowds aint it to me. Sports to me is meant to be experienced with all of those factors
you mean pro sports ya?

Which is why, even though some want to pretend it doesn't, this season has an * beside it for me.

THis is a nice, entertaining, alternate reality though.

But it ain't the real thing.

Yeah. Like, trust me I hold Luka's "NBA Playoff Debut" performance in high regard. I really do

But can I honestly without smirking say that was a real NBA Playoff Debut, especially considering if this was Non Bubble it would be on the road? No I cannot in good faith tell you that it was a true NBA Playoff Debut

But people will disagree and that's fine. I personally think those Non Bubble circumstances matter

So when Lakers eventually win this series in 6 of 7, going to be lot of “well we knew that would happen”
I mean that is what the Vegas odds suggest, so I think the majority of us have that expectation.

You got a different outcome in mind?

The red hat fake out is poor execution IMO. Imagine being a random white dude wearing that on the street cause you support the cause and wanna bring awareness but think it's clever. You might get clapped, some people will automatically resort to fight or flight with the association.
That is just dumb for a white person to even play like that though.

If you get knocked out from THAT, that is your own fault.

I agree with that too. I like both. I like how the extra really weighs on a player.

On the flipside. I like even playing fields. There were lots of guys gassed coming out of college that struggled getting to the league. Now blowing up and showing me all the promises they made about how nice they were.

The pressure is different. The weigh of moments is different. But at the same the extra stuff is just the extra stuff. It adds another layer fasho. But the game is played between those lines. So if we can tighten up some things and makes the paying field even so every player can be their best self and only have their own talent to rely on and not how loud their arena is...I'm digging that too.

I think there is a LOT of stress (mentally/physically) that has been removed from this Incubation BAsketball Model. How players respond to stress is part of the formula that makes them who they are.
If so many external forces have been removed, I just can't view it as anything close to the real thing.

But, It has been entertaining.

Quick question

Has it been entertaining?

Rewatching the Clipper game with the Clippers broadcast. That PG technical swung the momentum of the game. That’s when the Mavs run started :{

Yeah from a pure sports standpoint I def understand where you're getting at. No distractions no travel no extra reasons for fatigue etc. A controlled environment to make the competition as optimal as possible

I feel like that's not what it's meant to be though. The grind of it all the travel to other hostile cities. The chance for randoms and every day people to heckle you. Earning your home court advantage during the year. If you don't have home court, see if you are good enough to overcome that. Winning on the road is one of the most ball finding moments a player can have

I just go back to my Luka example, in good faith I cannot consider that a true NBA Playoff Debut. He didn't have to deal with any of the stuff the players before him had to go through in their first road Playoff game

If we were to go forward with a Bubble for the rest of life I feel like you can't compare any of those statistics nor results to the seasons before the Bubble. I think that's fair honestly

QU!K QU!K :smh:

If "someone else" did this, it would have been WW3 though.

His name starts with an S and ends with Teph

You think the media and everyone gives Dame a pass? Or do you think his time will come when it comes to the criticisms and what not?

I asked my folks this question the other day.

I said Dame is currently the most bulletProof NBA player.

Rarely do I hear folks have anything negative to say about him.

But, they ALWAYS turn on you. His time is coming.

Dame does a lot of (what could be perceived to be as) whining.

Folks will turn on him soon.
