That’s the whole point. The league doesn’t want tanking. So basically if you’re the Cavs or Knicks, you still want to win, bc having the worst record doesn’t increase your chances of the #1 pick anymore.

No one is trying to tank except for you guys in here the ENTIRE reason why the NBA changed the draft lottery is to prevent teams from intentionally losing. It creates more competition in the league, bc less teams are in “**** it” mode, bc they know having the worst record doesn’t help them. Yeah there will be bad teams like us, Cleveland, Phoenix, etc. but intentionally losing or throwing games is worse than actually trying to win. We’re not even “tanking”. We’re just not good. That’s why if we lose, cool. If we win, cool.

it definitely helped the league as a whole compared to years prior... the west only has 1 really garbage team in phoenix while the east has 4 really bad teams including us lol... im still pro tank though... obviously its not the same as years prior but still puts us in good position to have a really good pick...what is there to gain this year? no KP so no reason for the playoffs and theres nothing but young bucks here so minuswell develop them... just sucks that frank hasnt progressed at all...
