IIRC he was mad that they took too long to offer, and he didn't vibe at all with Drev, which put them behind in his recruitment.
Some Michigan fans blame his HS HC, but based on the fact we just got a 2020 kid out of there, I doubt he's the reason.

This isn't just sour grapes because Drev is gone now. That was the word ever since Michigan started recruiting that kid.
