Shocked @ Carman too. It was assumed that he was trolling with his OOS interest and would end up at OSU, especially being from Fairfield. Urban usually has his pick of whatever Cincinnati kids he wants.

I think it was a legit flip. Maybe Coach Smart has something under his sleeve and he's saving that spot for another receiver.

Thomas Booker, Toby Umerah, Caleb Kelly and Andres Fox is a really solid defensive line haul for Stanford.

Hasn't Carman always been tabbed as mainly a OSU/Clemson battle? I mean even from early on in his recruitment that's primarily what was said

Nah he was always leaving Ohio. People didn't want to believe it was possible because when does Urban/tO$U ever lose that battle? Truth be told it sounded like the same super involved family/friends Urban was banking on keeping him there through negative recruiting are ultimately what convinced him to bounce.

I hate negative recruiting but facts are facts. I could totally seen Urban having another "health scare" in a year or two and leaving.
