Don't get disappointed if Melo suits up in a Knicks jersey this season and this drags to the deadline.

Hell maybe even in to the next off-season.

Here's the problem...at some point, the Knicks are gonna make a bad trade. Melo can opt out after this season, leaving us with nothing. Either trade him now and take a bad deal or trade him at the deadline and take an even worse deal, bc we'll have absolutely zero leverage. At this point, let him walk. It's better than taking Ryan Anderson or someone else's horrible contract.
