He had no decency about it & was honest and unapologetic bout it. His reasons for doing it were justified too if you looked at our teams the previous years. We were one of those teams who were just there with no chance at anything in the future. Now we suck with a chance at being great. Id take that hope over that previous boring reality of our old teams

I get that but people talk like he revolutionized the game. Like no one ever had the epiphany that you can build thru the draft. He's closer to David Kahn than anything IMO.

Double digit loss at home against Philly.

Remember when Brooklyn started 4-5 and people were fooled into thinking they were mediocre instead of terrible? Couple wins against teams like the Wolves and Suns and people told me they were a decent team? I remember.
also Chicago could shoot. Wade was turning into a 3pt specialist. It's not that hard Players just don't practice enough. GS was washed. All said after one week.

And lol at people acting like hinkie is a ball genius. Yeah it's so difficult to purposely suck.

Oh trust me...Laker fans are EXTREMELY passionate about it on here. I'm collecting a big jar of their tears for this upcoming draft.

Even if we lose the pick it's not going to stop y'all from tanking though. That's the problem.

People were heavily against throughout hinkie's tenure

They already have Simmons Embiid, now they're about two more blue chips on the perimeter.

I mean, that's a serious haul.
Of course people were against it I just didn't know folks around here were that disgusted by it lol

Am I trippen or did sixers fans hate hinkie and The Process a couple years ago

You're not. That was the case. Honestly Embiid is the lone reason most have changed their tune. If he wasn't playing well they'd be looking even more like baffoons since Simmons is injured and they have 800 big men on their team.

Embiid turned that entire franchise around, saved Hinkie's job, and rejuvenated the entire city from a basketball prospective.

Nope. Every time Embiid has been on the floor for us this year we've looked like a legitimately competitive basketball team out there. Put Simmons, Fultz and Monk on the court with him along with whatever we get for Noel/Okafor and whatever complementary pieces wanna come play with Embiid and Simmons with our billion dollars in cap room this summer and we will be looking pretty nice very quickly, especially in the East.

It was a love hate relationship. We were patient with what he was doing, but he went further than what anyone could have imagined. Plus, his antics did hurt us in some ways. For example, porzingis wanted to part of the process. We could have drafted him instead of Jah.

He was great and breaking the team and tanking for asset collection, he was also good with the draft, but this was the year where he was going to start building. He just never had the chance to do so.

Sure.

Honestly, Laker fans should be thankful we got Bynum off your hands but instead are salty we will get your picks and have a better team than you in a couple of years. So entitled.

All it takes is a little bit of luck and y'all going to be looking stupid again come draft lottery night.

They'll be alright. With Embiid being an all star caliber player they just gotta hope they land an all star with 1 of those top 5 picks.

They need to find a suitor for Okafor fast though.

Mans just mad Sixers future looks brighter than LA

How sway?! Y'all literally have ONE dude that's actually on the floor contributing. And he can't eem play in every game yet.

What makes you say this? Last summer they went for all sorts of free agents.. this summer should be more of the same

Injuries isn't the same thing as tanking. I'm sure they didn't want Embiid and Simmons going through injuries and surgeries

Next year If they lose a lot so be it, I don't think they'll be tanking in that sense though
