**Official '11 NYK LOCKOUT thread*** lockout over

Just wondering, would a team take a trade of:

our 1st rounder + fields + douglas in exchange for kyrie irving

even if they did i don't think i would do that trade for the knicks... thats like the melo situation all over... the only difference is melo is proven so you knew what you were getting... with kyrie he looks like a promising player but thats a big risk... losing 2 starters and a 1st rounder when we don't have a lot to begin with

Not gonna be a fan of multiple players for one guy here on out unless we're getting cap space.

I'm gonna trade 3 bodies for 1 dude that's never suited up before? I'm good. I'd rather draft Frederic Weis than a dude from Duke.

I'd do that in a second, and I hate Duke players for the most part.

... its a good thing that you're not the GM

Kyrie is projected to be the #1 pick top 3 at worst and is slated to be better than every last person who's suited up for y'all within the past 7 yrs

I dont think we need Dwill, CP3, Billups on this team. I feel like we should go after a young PG in the draft (brandon knight?) someone who has their head on right, is pass first, and can come in here and know his role.

Go after a defensive center through FA (dalembert, deandre, mcgee?) plus we have the Jordan dude overseas whose supposedly looking a lot better.

So we're really not that far off from being a legitimate contender.

I saw some of that Maui tourney and his comeback.

And on rookie pay so we could find our center and bench?
In a heartbeat...but somehow, Dolan would get in there and we'd end up with half of the Cavs for Amar'e too.

The only person in the world who can turn a topic about the Baltimore Orioles into criticizing the worst team in the history of mankind (the knicks)

Michael "inferiority complex" Wilbon

It's really funny though. I don't care enough about the city of Chicago to hate it with such venom.

Different sport. Different state. But the guy somehow spends 70 seconds talking about the knicks

that's an impressive level of hate. Imagine if we were really good. His head would explode

Kemba is not going to be that great a pro player in my opinion. Awesome senior year for him though, he's come a long way from his first few years at UConn.
