Like they haven't witnessed 6+ seasons of poor basketball. A 4 game losing streak is pushing them to limits!

Theses losses suck but the Knicks are right where many of us thought they would be this season which is Cmpetitive and fighting for a playoff spot between 6-8 so really what is everyone so mad about?! This team will figure it out and turn it around...its going to take time.  The future is bright and we have 2 superstars...relax and enjoy the development and growth of the team.

If I had high/unrealistic expectations for the team then maybe I would be pissed but this team is not even close to being a finished product/contender yet.

Plus melo forced his way here and made us give more than we had to. That made the spotlight intense. Most losses aren't on him though

we weren't beating this team with or without melo. This is the one team I reeeeally wouldn't want to see in the playoffs. Terrible matchups for us

I hear people saying this isn't a finished product. And I agree. But it's going to be very, very hard to fill the roster out with such limited assets and cap space

I saw someone else make a good point. It seems so simple.

we have a horrible time finishing games. The fourth quarter is our weakness. Maybe it's because Melo always sits the first six minutes of the 4th?

If u look at most teams they usually rest their main guy at the beginning of the 4th to bring him back with like 7 or 8 min left in the game so he's fresh and ready to finish out the game.

IMO Pringles system is the problem. Dudes can say it worked in PHX but truth is he had the PERFECT team for the system. He also already had Raja Bell in there to play D, Marion who was a freak on the glass and defensive end at the time. PHX still couldn't get stops but IMO u can't just automatically give dudes system a free pass just cause they "probably" would beaten the Spurs if not for Big Shot's hip check on Nash.

If Pringles was such a good coach he'd be able to make changes on both ends to help us. Yes, he's changed the playbook to get Amar'e and Melo more iso's but %#*+ it's CARMELO & AMAR'E, dudes r gonna get theirs regardless, they're paid like superstars for a reason, they fill it up, period. I don't want to beat a dead drum but in all honestly this is coming to the point where Pringles deficiencies as a coach can't be ignored, they just can't. Coaching won't completely win the game but as a coach you MUST put your players in positions to succeed. Pringles doesn't do this, period. I'm all over the place right now and I could go on but something no one talks about is dudes plays.

We have no plays. "Elbow" is a !%!$%*% high school 4 high set for !%!$%*% crying out loud.

Anyone ever notice Pringles out of time outs? Inbounder passes the ball, comes off double screen for a 3. Yea it looks great when it goes in but we run the same !%!$%*% play all the time. How many times do you see coaches stealing 6-8 points a game for their team off plays. All the good teams do it, %#*+, even Larry !%!$%*% Drew draws up decent plays for out timeouts.

Anyone remember the end of the 2nd or 3rd in the Boston game? I don't remember which but after Shuttlesworth came back, Doc throws him out there as a decoy, comes off a double screen, gets all the attention, Rondo hits baby slipping towards the hoop, not one dude within 5 feet of him. Can ANYONE give me a time where Pringles drew up something half decent out a timeout, or something nice when we get the ball on the baseline under the opponents hoop? NEVER EVER EVER has it happened.

one of 1 million questions I'd like to ask Pringles tonight. Dude is stubborn, period. I think he's been sitting Melo to start all 4th quarters since the trade if I'm not mistaken..I could be wrong but I'm almost positive of this..

Pringles is getting him like 5-6 minutes on the bench every half. I know he likes to keep this consistent but IMO you gotta be flexible considering dudes are getting worn down (Amar'e) and you gotta take into consideration who's got the hot hand. I agree that Melo has to sit at some point to be fresh, but IMO it can't be cause well that's what I always do.

I'm kinda not too mad about this one. We lost over some pretty simple stuff. Amare's shot was awful and we couldn't fake not having a center down the stretch.

Completely OT from tonight, not saying this cause Chauncey's been banged up or not playing like when he first arrived, whatever you choose, but if it comes down to cutting him after the season to free up that cap space in order to sign DeAndre Jordan, do you do it?

I think I might. I'd hate the fact we'd be going thru our 4th (?) PG in as many years and I love the leadership & intangibles Billups brings..but I gotta say a front court of DeAndre and STAT could be problems, big problems for other teams.

Damn enough of going off about us tonight.

helps. It is what it is, but Pringles is losing fans, quickly. As a diehard I gotta admit canning dude after all the #%@@ we been through is kinda grimy, he did bring a certain buzz back, or was it STAT? But still there's just things we need to fix that I just don't think he's capable of addressing.

Can we please stop mentioning Denver in this thread? They beat the Spurs w/o Duncan and not a single one of their 11 wins since the trade were against an elite team..The only playoff teams they beat were the Hawks which we also beat with Melo, New Orleans whom we beat with Carmelo, and Memphis whom we beat twice with Carmelo..The only playoff team they've played that we lost to since acquiring Carmelo is Boston

TD was never good at it and Billups seems like he can't make the right pass so it works. He always opts out of pick n rolls and dribbles to one side or the other and/or passes out to someone on the perimeter.

As far as them not having practices. It's a catch 22 if Amar'e is really getting worn out. Don't want to go in to the playoffs playing bad but I want these guys fresh for the 1st round.

that Sheridan piece is real talk. i just hope we don't get into a position where pringles is getting outcoached to the point it's a bigger issue than what's happening on the floor
