You put AR back in a Knicks uni and he's playing timid again. dude put a lot of unnecessary pressure on himself instead of trying to impress in garbage time.

I aint doubting he has talent and the skill to succed but scoring 30+ while on the Wolves against Dallas aint much for me to feel bad that we traded him.

@ dude who said Amare Stoudemire should have been guarding Dwight Howard. Amare can barely guard Hibbert from Indiana.
Knicks need to Fire DAN-TONI, 1st, then we talk about acquiring players

Anyways, this team is capable of beating anybody and also losing to anybody.

I'm just waiting on the playoffs at this point

how can a guy we give no kinda burn drop 31 and 11 rebounds? i mean not like we have any other player that resembles a rebounder on our team ....

^ yup.  Randolph was bound to have a good game at some point, that's just the kind of player he is.  Literally like the second coming of this guy:

He played like a timid child because he knew that if he made a mistake dantoni would bench him for two months

rebounding is our biggest flaw but I keep see him benching guys that Walsh gives him to fix the problem.

He got benched because he was don't shoot threes.Gallo had a bunch of bad games and never been benched like that.

Im  not the biggest D'antoni fan but gutting the team for 2 and a half years than giving him 18 games with this new squad he deserves a lil leeway no?....we all no we aint winning $#+* this year, theyll address a lot of problems this offseason...give the man some time with a complete roster

That's bs. Now D'Antoni is too harsh? Like we aint know he plays small ball and likes a short rotation? Early in the season Pringles experimented with the line up several times and let AR play and he aint produce shh. Some may say he quickly benched him but dude had chances to show his worth in garbage time and he never did. Not to mention the rumors about his attitude and w/e way he was performing in practice. Dude is not built for NYC with that woe is me face 24/7.

There should be no type of salty or we missed out on a good player feelings in regards to AR. We trying to win games not give try outs for 20 games to see if he'll pan out, save that for the lottery teams. Good for him that he's playing well in Minnesota.

And yeah, he don't shoot 3s so he already had a knock against him

Most ppl don't want to hear that type of reasoning in here.

^That, was some of the reason why he doesnt play well. He comes out trying to do too much, hoping to please us fans and prove us wrong knowing that the fans would hate him if he does not prove anything. In the end, he plays like crap, gets *$!%$%% on, and then loses his self confidnece.

It was more of an issue of the lack of self confidence. Mike never gave him a chance, the same way Don Nelson never gave him a chance. Now in Minny, there isnt much pressure because they know hes a project.

That's on AR's personality then. Moz was starting in the beginning of this season. For the most part his play was evident that he was a rookie and new to the NBA. For every board he crashed and block shot there was a turnover and other messed up plays. Nobody ever said he wasn't anything but a project. Dude got benched when we started losing and stayed there when we started winning. Start of the year he's back in the rotation putting in work like he never played bad.

I'd almost say the same for Mason Jr. seeing that his shot was off when he originally got play but after the deadline he seemed more comfortable (but maybe that's cuz of less depth).

So yeah, I'd say it's about effort and self confidence. Something AR didn't have here. So what if dude is prospering now on the Timberwolves. Can't be mad thinking he could've been doing that here. Can't put that on Pringles.

I'd probably say giving up Darko was more of a mistake than AR.
