I'm thinking about this record though and how it even got here and it just makes me wonder how many pages the next season thread will be if we do get a 3rd superstar, a lot of height and become a better defensive team. We were on pace for a thousand with Amar'e and a slightly above average team along with the Melodrama. I guess will repeat this next season

Any little $+$! he does, it irritates me. So I tend to go off on a tangent when I feel his involvement does not benefit the team.
I don't give a %%@# about renovations and such. Cuz the bottom line is that he doesn't really care about an actual WINNING product. Them renovations are mainly going down so that he can make MORE money. Like he ain't already caking...

No panic here, I'm still focused on the big picture. We weren't winning %%@ this season regardless as we all know. Eyes still set on improving the team and readying for a run at the 2013 chip.

Everyone hates Dolan, so you're not going against any Knicks fans there. Although the ticket hike report was overblown, reports of some season ticket members only seeing a 5% hike have surfaced, and reps have said it's going to be primarily the lower bowl who sees the biggest increase.
I've repeated it countless times, but most fans fail to realize this team is still a work in progress. Yeah we gave up most of our young talent for one guy, but that same guy forced out hand into dealing for him now. No one was complaining when Melo beat Memphis, and no one would say a damn word if he hits clutch shots in the playoffs. Repeating every 4 posts how we need a new coach is incredibly annoying... NO ONE is 100% satisfied with D'Antoni... but we recognize that there's few QUALITY coaches available. Quality means experienced coaches with good records and who can manage our players appropriately.
We need a center, we need a good pass first back-up point, we need perimeter defense... we need a better coach. We as fans know that... but constantly crying and complaining just brings the fanbase down. If you're that upset about it, STOP WATCHING THE KNICKS. if you hate Dolan that much, don't tune into MSG, don't buy tickets, don't buy gear... but guess what? you still watch this team, you still cheer for them, so shut the %$@! up once in awhile. It's a gift and a curse being a Knicks fan, most of you should be used to it by now.
This team will get there, for a fan base who has gone through so much crap, you can't be a LITTLE more patient? If Amare, Melo, and D'Antoni have had 3 first round exits in the playoffs, then this is all justified, BUT WE JUST GOT THIS TEAM TOGETHER.

For the record, I've worked hard to not be overly annoying on NT. (Laker fans can definitely back me up on this).
I don't bash the Knicks anywhere as often as I used to. As a matter of fact, when you guys are winning, I don't come in and throw salt. I let you guys bask in your moment. And I don't tune in as often as I'd like to cuz +++%% @!* Dolan refuses to allow an HD feed to FIOS customers.
But every once in a while (as you said), I DO feel as if I'm allowed to vent. I don't see anything wrong w/any of the diehards in here claiming to be upset when the team displays 2 consecutive pathetic performances.
Not to say I'm a diehard "fan". But I've followed the Knicks pretty much all my life (as I have the entire NBA). And I just would like to see the city of NY represented in a respectful manner once more. No more punch-lines that end with: New York Knicks.
How many times are fans supposed to hear: "be patient, one more year"????

I understand that for sure Shuges, but fans turn on the Knicks far too quickly. This past two performances do deserve it for sure, but this team could have a bad first quarter and people are repeating the same things, "fire the coach", "trade everyone", "i hate this team", etc. I'm not trying to be a jerk and demand people buy into my personal views of the team, but like I said earlier, I can quote most of the people complaining and within 3 games they meet the opposite end of the spectrum. That's what I'm complaining about.
Fans are expected and allowed to vent, but not after every game
This team was fooling themselves if they thought we were a serious team up until this year. The Isiah years was constantly a band-aid for a bullet wound, but a lot of us were too blind to see that and thought, "Marbury and Francis, sure that'll work".
It's rough for a fanbase to be constantly patient, because at some point, your patience should run out... but that's what makes some fans unique. And I think that's what makes Knicks fans one of the best. Because despite everything they've gone through, we still pack MSG and watch the games. The ultimate "issue" is Dolan, but like I've said... fans aren't boycotting the games/broadcasts/merchandise. And even if we did, Dolan would keep the team out of spite
