Jeffries looked bad on the Knicks because the Knicks were bad, his contract was bad, and we had (upon his exit) Mike as HC. 2/3 of that has changed and he addresses part of what we need.

Karl telling the truth. Melo is one of the best scorers in the league but doesn't put the same intensity and work to his defense.

Dudes are missing it when it comes to the Jeffries situation.
First of all, he's only going to get 20-25 minutes a game, so all the memories of air-ball corner threes, lost handles, errand passes, all that is not an issue. He will barely EVER have the ball if it's not a rebound, block or tracked down loose ball.
Second, some dudes are saying they rather give the PT to Brewer instead of Jeffries.
Jeffries is going to be our 6th or 7th man off the bench as a 4 or 5. Brewer can not guard 4's or 5's. Of course Jeffries isn't IDEAL for us, but for right now, after getting robbed for Mozgod and having barely any bigs, he's more then capable of holding it down.
He's a tough player as well, as the pic posted of him grabbing Melo indicates. He ain't gonna be pushed around and he isn't gonna be soft out there.

My son Gallo don't have no gel in his hair though.

If he comes, I'm thinking closer to 15-20 max a game give or take depending on Turiaf's health or foul trouble night to night. (and that's really all i want to see, to much of an offensive liability..at least Ronny can dunk the ball)
I REALLY like what Shawne Williams has given the team this year and he's still going to get a lot of minutes at the 4 and Amare still will play the 5 at stretches.

hope melo is prepared for the hate and criticism to increase. once a player comes to the knicks, he sucks. i wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't even get foul calls as much anymore
