3-0 this morning fellas! I was very precise with my breakdown of the Min/Wis game and pretty good with NC State as well.Originally Posted by 651akathePaul
Minnesota (+22.5) vs. Wisconsin:
The big argument for Wisconsin I heard this week was that they're going to come into this game pissed off after losing to Michigan State last week and because Minnesota is horrible, the Badgers will blow them out of the water.Well, Minnesota's defense is horrible, their offense is pretty good actually and are led by a 5th year senior. They can put up some points and I see them getting to at least 21. That means the Badgers would have to get to 44. Even against that Gopher D, I think it's a stretch that they cover.
Boston College vs. NC State (-9.5):
Boston College has been having one heck of a time scoring and NC State is still on quest to convince people that they're for real this year despite last weeks choke job against VTech. NC States offense is too strong and I'm not sure what the identity of BC is at this point.
Illinois (+9) vs Penn St:
This figures to be lower scoring as both defense are pretty stout. Illinois has been fairly feisty so far and Penn St is inconsistent. I think Penn State at home should win, but by more than a TD? Don't believe so.

It's not that far fetched, the players got together and were like "lets beat them by less than the spread and make some money off this". Of course they're not trying to put their ranking in jeopardy.Originally Posted by 4wrestling

the spread was only 7.... maybe if they were favored by like 24 points.....Originally Posted by freakydestroyer

Yeah man, I'm sorry, but get real. You don't shave points in a 7 point game on the road when you're the #1 team in the country.Originally Posted by THE SAUNA

6-0 so far today boys. My picks have been on point and going much the way I anticipated. At this point, I'm just hoping to let the good times roll.Originally Posted by 651akathePaul

Michigan St. (+4.5) vs. Michigan
Arkansas (-5) vs. Texas A&M
Clemson vs. UNC (-2.5)
Michigan St (+4.5) vs. Michigan:
I don't see any reason to roll with Michigan today other than Denard Robinson, but that's not enough for me. Their defense is horrendous and Michigan State is solid on both sides of the ball. They can get the few key stops that Indiana could not last week, but the selling point is that Michigan St. can control the clock on the ground and if it comes down to it, can throw the ball to keep the pace with Denard. MSU straight up.
Arkansas (-6) vs. Texas A&M:
Interesting stat I've heard. BCS teams coming off of a bye week only cover 50% of their games the following week. Texas A&M can be tough, but I would go against Arkansas only if it were actually being played at Texas A&M's place. This game is on a nuetral field and A&M's secondary is a bit suspect. Mallett will take advantage of both and get Arkansas back on track
Since I'm on fire right now, I'll go ahead and reiterate that you heard it here first.Originally Posted by 651akathePaul

You guys need to stay away from that game. Despite what you see on the ticker, Washington State has been playing much better of late and their QB is getting into somewhat of a rhythm.
Tack on Oregon coming off of that high versus Stanford, you might be surprised when WSU covers. Oregon will win, but I'd stay away.
I'm just sayin...
