No NEW EDITION MOVIE thread?

Out of the JE, 112, Dru Hill and Next......

I gotta go with JE! Plus they had the best most recent albums.

112 first album is that album u let play from beginning to end while u chillin with your lady :pimp:

When you find out what "Too Close" is about :x :smh:

That song stands the test of time man. Definition of classic....

JE's songs were repetitive as hell. 112 was better.

Got damn lie.

The toughest ***** will shed a tear seeing his wife come down the isle to "Walked right out of Heaven".

Then Let's get married. To this day.....still goes. The remix to for the reception.

And we can't forget where da party at.

JE mad versatile. From Thug & B.....to wedding songs.

But 112.....let "Anywhere" come on right now around your lady......

When I first heard the unedited version...the first line

"I wonder if she could tell I'm hard right now hmm"

I was like wow lol. I was 12 at the time.

Where the Party was only big because they changed it up for once. All the music had the same damn sound and they stuck to their lane. 112 actually had some versatility from "Cupid" to "Peaches and Cream".

I always said I'd never cry at my wedding unless the woman I marry walk down the aisle to that ****. Gonna have me like the pops from intervention.

JE was very good but nothing special.

Same for 112. I prefer them over JE though.

By the 2000s, solo R&B artists were more my vibe who were standing out; RL, Case, Maxwell, Tyrese, R. Kelly still doing his thing, etc.

I mean.....obviously 112 was influenced by New Edition.

But it wasn't until I was a bit older....that the optics of the album cover hit me.

This 112 Album cover was clearly paying homage to NE Heartbreak
