How do you describe the second haircut to the person cutting your hair? Do you just go in and say you want a fauxhawk? I am looking to do this cut too, but don't know how to describe it.Originally Posted by airblaster503
Try Bumble and Bumble hair thickening spray or styling lotion, I have extremely fine hair but it is wavy and both worked great for me, for that style above I would recommend the styling lotion or the creme.Originally Posted by ksteezy

Just bookmarked this, I'm in the market for a new hairstyle too...haven't cut my hair since last November I think....+*%# is getting wild, but I'm afraid of styling it because my hair is thin and stubborn as hell, any products to add extreme volume to hair?Btw OP just die your hair red and practice jujitsu
This is another good hairstyle for longer hair.
I went almost 11months without a haircut and just got tired of dealing with it, now I am rocking something really similar to this for the summer. Minus the faux hawk.

Print the picture out and take it to whoever is cutting your hair. If not just get it cut down to about 2 inches all over, then explain where you want them to buzz it after. That is about a 1/4 inch on his sides. Also if you are wanting it like that picture make sure they don't fade everything together, if they do it will just look like a normal haircut. Make sure there is still that hard line between the long hair on top and the short hair on the sides.Originally Posted by myselfonline

I can't quite picture a dude sitting in front of a mirror combing hair back.... the bathroom mirror along with her appliances and assorted hair wax is her territory... I'd feel real awkward if she came at me over me using up all her gel...or how were so late because she had to wait on me to fix my mop hair.
then again I also now can't stop laughing at that beiber picture.....cause thats exactly what I'm envisioning right now...
