We probably shouldn't have won that. Bannister kind of had an out of body experience.
He's one of those guys that pitches well against one team.

Has Progressive Field (it'll always be Jacobs Field in my mind) always been this deserted for day games? Seeing all those empty seats is pretty depressing, especially since they used to have sellouts every game
We never really come close to selling out, except when we were running hot and in the playoffs a couple years ago.
Day games don't do very well in general.
We have to work in Cleveland, not go sit in $5,000 seats.
What happened?
Meche had retired like 16 in a row.
Garko hit a double to start the 8th
Graffanino pinch ran for him
Francisco put down a perfect bunt; Graffanino got thrown out trying to score on an overthrow
Hafner got a pinch hit single
Cabrera reached on an error; Francisco scored (tie game)
Grady hit a three run bomb
Wood came in and shut the door
He has struck out 11 of the 16 batters he faced.

MLB Rumor Central: Indians might unload Lee
For whatever ESPN is worth.

There have been reports that the Indians could trade pitcher Cliff Lee at some point this season.
Lee, who won the AL Cy Young award in 2008, has struggled slightly to begin the new season.
"Multiple officials familiar with the Indians said this week that they wouldn't be at all surprised to see Lee get traded if the Indians fell far out of the race," according to an article on CBSSports.com.
Cleveland might look to trade Lee sooner rather than later while he value is still rather high.
Not really worth publishing.
