They were def the top 10s now that im forcing myself to remember...I remember those elastic straps, and the purple is the shade of the kb8IIs that Mr J posted..but yes thats the goofy foot face logo thing i was talking about

I don't remember those releasing in white/purple colorway when they first released back in the day.

Heck even the OG dark blue ones I vaguely remember Kobe wearing them a few times in the 96 summer league & pre season.His rookie year he sat out the first 3 weeks or a month because he broke his hand playing in a street ball game at Venice beach.

Is it weird I feel like Kobe's Adidas line was so much better than his Nike line. Even The Kobe II, even though ridiculous looking, at least was novel and different. Nostalgia also plays a role and I'd be lying if I didn't admit it. But overall, Nike's Kobe's shoes always look the same to me. 

Are the Sunshines going to be limited or are they going to be easily attainable like the EQTs that came out and are on sale. Want to buy these sunshines on sale, don't want to spend 125 on shoes. 

The problem with this shoe was that it creases like nothing you have ever seen before. Also, really hard to pull off with a regular outfit. Great shoes to play ball in though. Breathability was a huge issue though, and you would come out with some sweaty feet at the end of your session.

I just find it funny though how Adidas call all of Kobe's Adidas signature shoe line "AdidasThe Crazy 1 " whenever they retro his shoes

It's a unspoken and topic but both Adidas & Kobe know that it's a straight jab & diss at Kobe for leaving 3 stripes.Heck I don't blame him for leaving after seeing the hideous design of the The Kobe III

Yeah i cant find a pic of them in purple either, but I vivdly remember them being purple though because the only thing I could wear with them was my Washington Huskies jersey! I was at my grandfather for buying me something purple. I never seen Kobe in them period, I just automatically labeled them Kobes because they were purple gold and white. Maybe the pair I had were supposed to be blue and were defective thats why I got, I got it at Ross :\

Kobe Bryant downplayed his team’s 10-9 start without him, saying, “Not like we were gangbusters before.” After Mike D’Antoni heard these comments, he took it upon himself to defend the Lakers start to the season. “I have to disagree with that, we were 6-2 in the last eight games and I thought we played extremely well, winning three in a row on the road — so that’s not quite right. I’m really proud of what the guys did,” said D’Antoni.

These comments have created quite a stir and some speculation on whether D’Antoni really wanted Bryant to come back to the lineup. Remember he had a similar problem in New York when Carmelo Anthony came back from an injury while his team was on a terrific win streak during Linsanity. D’Antoni soon left the Knicks after Anthony’s return because they just weren’t playing D’Antoni’s brand of basketball anymore.

It seems as though D’Antoni wishes he had no superstar caliber player on his team, rather a captain that is an extension of his system that can command the floor. D’Antoni seemed very defensive of his team and almost implied that the Lakers were better off without Bryant. Only time will tell if they can get it together, but Lakers fans sure hope it’s sooner rather than later as the team is currently 0-2 with Bryant.

Soon to be 0-3, as I seriously doubt we beat OKC, not now.
