This is not some mystery.

I. Do. Not. Give. A. Single. ****. About. Luxury. Taxes.

Pay $500 million a year in Luxury Taxes. I do not care. We are not the Seattle Supersonics. There is no celebrating "we saved two million dollars yippee!!!"

So, like I said. IF this move leads us to a big(ger) move, that adds money (and luxury tax payments) but makes the team a true, absolute, bonafide contender. Great job Rob, and Jeanie. 100%

IF this is the only move they make, they did nothing. Except save money. Like we're The Pacers or some ****.

Issa shame because DLo has all the talent. It’s just something else that’s lacking. It doesn’t seem like he wants to get better.

Physically and athletically, he cannot level up as the competition rises. And he can't quite balance the scoring and play making duties despite the talent.

Issa shame because DLo has all the talent. It’s just something else that’s lacking. It doesn’t seem like he wants to get better.

Not sure about “ all the talent”

He’s crafty but really slow. Can’t blow by defenders and can’t jump, gets beat a lot on defense. And his effort level is often on the low side

Great streaky shooter and amazing vision,but turnover prone at times

D.lo will probably go back to how he was with the Nets and the Nets won't win anything.

D.lo is a good player...but I just don't see him contributing to a championship team.

Yes, just what we all should want, the biggest brand in the sport making moves like they're the Memphis Grizzlies.

If it leads to a big(ger) deal, then they did great. And I hope that happens.

If this is all they do, then they didn't do anything.

No one cares about the money other than the future trade part. But if it’s a benefit of the trade so it’s worth mentioning.

Haven’t watched a ton of Nets games recently so IDK how DFS looks first hand but he should add some much needed defense and size to the wing position… that’s “something”

Does this move alone make them a contender? No

Does this move alone make them better? I believe so

I’m not the one to evaluate everything on whether or not it’s a championship level move… but if you do that’s your opinion

Think DFS has lost a half step and better off guarding PFs or slower SFs. Maybe even be a small ball center. *sigh*
