Should be available for the minimum, but he's older and not much of a defender. Better shooter than Bullock though.ellington?

I think Kieff may be backWho is coming back for sure?
I think it will be:
Lebron
AD
Kcp
Caruso
THT
Morris
Mathews
I kind of think THT can be had for the right piece. He's the piece that has the most potential to fetch something worthwhile because of his age and free agency variable.Who is coming back for sure?

Hard to say. But boy would I love Robert Covington instead of Kuzma.Give me some realistic Kuz trades if you don’t see him coming back next season.
Remember, he’s coming off a playoff series where he averaged 6 points on 29% from 2 and 17% from 3 shooting.
Some people need to be banned from Twitter, I'm not a Luka fan but come on.
Ain't no way that deal is EVER being done.
You'll lose all the perimeter defense the Lakers were gassing the past 2 yrs. What if....
We do a sign and trade involving Schroder and THT to make the salaries work and go out and get Kyle Lowry whom TOR also agrees to S&T to us.
Then sign Patty Mills and his average of 150 threes the last 6 yrs for the vet minimum.
We then package KCP, Kuzma, and AC Ginobili to SA in a S&T for DeRozan.
We split the $9.5m midlevel exception to add a big, which Pelinka could use on Drummond or perhaps Dwight if he becomes available.... AND add another shooter and veteran like Carmelo Anthony, who still hunting for a ring and playing hungry (he made 133 threes this year at a very respectable 41%.
Trez probably doesn't pick up his PO and bounces.
Maybe we re-sign Kieff and Wes for the minimums if they want to run it back. Maybe we sign a JJ Redick or a Wayne Ellington or Trevor Ariza for the vet minimum
In this scenario I can see Gasol talking himself to stay another year cause he'd be reunited with Lowry.
With some creativity and genius, we could end up being right back in the mix with a roster like
Gasol
AD
LeBron
DeRozan
Lowry
Mills, Ellington, Melo, Matthews, Drummond
Entire roster upgraded with better talent, better shooters, more battle tested veterans, and added two former All-Stars who have a chip on they shoulder and 100% hungry to win their first chip (DeRozan and Melo).
We gonna need more than 2 stars in order to beat BKN next year
Not sure “gassing” is accurate word here palYou'll lose all the perimeter defense the Lakers were gassing the past 2 yrs.
Lakers weren't gassed as having the top defense the past 2 seasons? A lot of that was their guards and how they scrambled on the perimeter. Faltered this season, but every single game, there was mention of them being #1 in defense. No matter how many nights dudes got fed.Not sure “gassing” is accurate word here pal

I like Caruso, he's a nice complementary piece BUT I'd be SHOCKED if he gets anything close to that in free agency.Caruso has a unique role in that he rarely plays more than 20-to-24 minutes, but he’s an essential cog in closing lineups due to his knack for making big plays. He’s likely going to receive a contract at the non-taxpayer mid-level ($10.1 million) annually at a minimum. He could easily get something in the $12-13 million range. Re-signing Caruso will be a top priority for the Lakers.
I hear you man.Hard to say. But boy would I love Robert Covington instead of Kuzma.
I didn’t include him in my “back for sure” list bc he just makes the perfect amount of money to trade away. Not to mention his ****ty playoffs both this and last season
Sounds like THT is gone from his words.
But I still want to see who actually offers him a big deal.
Lol nah I don’t buy into peoples words. Especially not a 20 year olds.Sounds like THT is gone from his words.

Nobody could have predicted how bad kcp would shoot in playoffs. just 9 months earlier he was our 3rd best player in the bubble. Giving up 3 rotational guys in a time when we needed depth without Lebron and AD was gonna be foolish.IDK, giving up Schroder, KCP and THT is a lot.
