**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Expect the following two players to be traded within the next 10 days, possibly for each other - Jahlil Okafor and Timofey Mozgov. OR...

In other news, Mason Plumlee, along with POR's 2nd round pick has been traded to DEN for Jusuf Nurkic and DEN's 1st round pick (which is MEM's top 5 protected pick).

Lol melos not getting traded to the Lakers

He won't waive his no trade clause to go to another losing team and the Lakers aren't dumb enough to trade for him

Dude literally has the worst abuse of the trade machine I've ever seen.

Why would philly trade oak to take on $50 million of Mozgov
Because Mozgov would be a great backup for Embiid when Embidd is healthy and a perfect starter for them in the event Embiid has to miss games due to injury. His contract would be a bargain because the purpose he serves to the team. Not to mention, Mozgov's style of play fits the type of players Philly has and would complement guys like Saric, Covington, Ilyasova, and Simmons.

LOL they're actually talking to Portland in real life and Ed Davis is there for less than half the cost and is 3 years younger.

Whip would you ever consider being a gm?
LOL....when it comes to managing a "growing portfolio of assets" in order to achieve multi-million dollar revenue growth for a company and being the sole executive responsible for it, I bet you'd like to find what I do for a living. When it comes to scouts and journalists in the know, bet you'd love to know who I know in the league.

That's what I love about these forums....you can remain completely anonymous and the entire time people won't even know who the heck they're talking to lol

Those talks have stalled buddy. Especially now that POR just acquired Jusuf plus a 2nd round pick. The deals that most likely happen are the deals NOBODY talks about in the news.

Did you hear any rumors about Jusuf going to POR and Plumlee going to DEN? LOL

Dig a little deeper.

Lakers will make no deals before the trade deadline passes. Just like every year before.

Hahaha....how many times do you think the Lakers have made mid-season deals in the last 24 years? How many years of the last 24 do you think the Lakers have made mid-year acquisitions?

Would you think it's about 10-15% of the time?

Take a wild guess
