Nothing serious, this morning they were expecting 3 foot waves, nothing out of the ordinary for most of the coast. Boats were moving around though, and this idiot was killed for his own stupid decisions.

you guys think this is because of the supermoon? last supermoon brought the 9.0 indonesian earthquake in 2005. i sure hope this was because of the supermoon because if it aint we prolly gonna get another big earthquake

But the plant which is melting down now - Fukushima I - is actually 6 years olderthan Chernobyl, having been commissioned in 1971.

It means that there is a full moon at the same time the moon is closest to the earth in its natural cycle.
So instead of just being a full moon, it is a full moon close to the earth. Apparently there are 4-6 supermoons a year.
