Thank you. My personal opinion is that if you made a stickied thread with this exact information you just posted, it would a) keep everyone informed of what is going on and feel better about the server situation, and b) cut down on the number of threads like this one.

I think threads like these are going to keep on coming up if the users aren't up to date with the status of "the issue". I don't think anyone is denying that its an issue.
I think a good idea is to just sticky a thread with updates on what's being looked into as far as a fix.
Also I've PM'ed some instructions to Method Man with a solution to backup niketalk from YUKU. If you can get the SQL files composed thats one step forward to changing the platform the board is ran on while preserving the content.
As far as funding and figuring out if you can have ads pay off expenses that should be figured out after.

people ignore the stickies...
I've posted links in threads just like this time and time again... people dont' want to look for info.... they just want things fixed.
...not that I blame them...but at the same time... when people are barking orders saying "fix it already" I'm not apt to reply positively... so I just don't reply

I like wasting time on NT. I do not like wasting time while I'm wasting time. Something needs to be done. I used to be able to get in and out of threads faster than a porn star. Now it takes 5 minutes just for yuku to tell me to go f myself

True, maybe you can put it as a Featured Topic and not allow yuku complaint threads. People will get the idea.
As long as that thread is updated and it is answered people should get an understanding on whats going on and some might even be able to help.

Just have faith in Meth and the NT staff... They acknowledge the problems and I'm sure they're trying their best to fix them.
