More test is always better because you can isolate clusters.

For example why do a nationwide lockdown if only 1 person in the state of Wyoming has it?

United States is a big country it would be better to isolate on a city by city or a state by state basis rather than shutting everything down.

They could do it via drive through testing centers and home visits. For the people in need and where clusters are prevalent first of course.

If lots of people have it you want to know lots people are infected.

Maybe a lockdown would still be necessary but the overall impact would be much more manageable.

Right now the various levels of government are just shooting in the dark.

More information is always better.

Kinda selfish to want to get it and then be out for two weeks while the others got to pick up the slack.

I don't understand the potential shelter in place order but if I understand it right it'll just put more burden on Healthcare workers than they already have.
