I don’t think anyone is skipping over that issue of how important school is beyond just what’s in the books

but to me that just speaks to how irresponsible certain adults have been and the steps they should have taken months ago


I put this in the politics thread.. but in my firm another attorney who is an anti-vaxxer, he has 2 kids under 5, his wife doesn’t work and both his father and brother have a rare condition where they can’t even have caffeine or chocolate.. THAT guy who has smoked for over 2 decades of his life is against it, also happens to be a trump defender

hell there is a secratary in our office who has had it, she’s overweight and has had multiple family members die from it and others who have had it.. although being eligible for months to get the vaccine, only got her first shot last week

but speaking of school. I saw this shh last week

I'm more worried about the impact of long covid on children and their development. To me, that's where the potential danger resides since the disease leaves long-term effects in a much larger number of adults than it kills.

Amazing how everyone ignores that after seeing the effects in the adult population. It’s already classified as a disability by the government!

The cases don’t equal death argument is so goddamn tired. More cases = the potential for more death, but I guess that isn’t good enough for some folks. And as just mentioned, the impacts of Long COVID on kids could indeed lead to more lives prematurely lost down the road.

Nope. Wish I was joking. We stopped accepting prescriptions from one doctor who literally ordered 100+ tabs stating that it’s for his office staff and his family members, citing news articles in Israel.

There is none. The scientific community is desperate for an oral medication for COVID. Same thought process behind Hydroxychloroquine early in the pandemic.

From what I've heard is that Ivermectin is very low cost, and isn't under a patent, thus big pharma can't take in mega profits. People are wanting it to be the miracle drug to take prophylacticly to stop covid in it's tracks. Episode #1671 of JRE had Bret Weinstein & Dr. Pierre Kory(ICU and lung specialist who is an expert on the use of Ivermectin to treat COVID(Description provided from the episode, not my words)

Dr. Kory is talking about the human version on Ivermectin, rather than the horse dose equivalent, FYI.

Not sure how much of the freedom MAGA crowd gets down with Joe Rogan, but hasn't there been stuff on FauxNews about Ivermectin too? Seems like it's the same thing when people used the fish take cleaner version of Chloroquine.
