You didn't read what you posted?'We'll be living with masks for years': COVID-19 through the eyes of a pandemic expert
Since the summer of 2019, I've been speaking with one of the world's leading pandemic experts about what a global outbreak could look like. Now, as the world enters a grim new phase, he says we're in a whole new ball game.www.cnet.com
Bill Gates: Coronavirus pandemic will end 'for the rich world' by late 2021
The Microsoft co-founder estimates the disease will affect the developing world even longer.www.cnet.com
what about the poor that live in the rich mans world ?
I guess colleges can now go to 100% online classes (one of the reasons for colleges trying to reopen was so they could justify having sports in the fall).
Maybe I shouldn't laugh but the whole college sports system is broken. The greedy schools and conferences will get screwed, but at the least the student athletes won't be forced to sacrifice their bodies and health for free this year.Looks like all fall college sports might get cancelled this week.
Apparently there are meetings this week, and the expectation is that everything will be cancelled...Maybe I shouldn't laugh but the whole college sports system is broken. The greedy schools and conferences will get screwed, but at the least the student athletes won't be forced to sacrifice their bodies and health for free this year.
From what I'm reading, Big Ten is set to cancel but there is pressure now on the other major conferences to cancel together.

He basically said it will end for the developed world at the end 2021, and the world at large at the end of 2022.
Well your comment was confusing because you and Gates are talking about two different things.i did read what i posted and as i said " what about the poor that live in the rich man's world ? "
will the poor of this country get access to a vaccine that the rich can afford ?
i hope so
i don't think this will end in 2021 or 2022 as much as i would like to be wrong as the article says
