Have you ever had baked beans with ground beef/turkey? Usually with onions and diced peppers.

That wouldn't be classified as a chili. (I mean, I guess you COULD call it that)

Never heard anyone call that chilli.

There is no tomato sauce in it.

There is no chili powder in it.

People call it ground meat and baked beans.

Never heard of chili being made with baked beans

I don't think anyone is arguing against THAT point.

But I think there has to be SOME form of CHILI, in a chili.

A pepper
A paste
A sauce
A powder

Something

Beans don't matter but I prefer thwm. Extra protein, gives the chili more of a texture

Bush's beans are trash by themselves. They need to be spiced up. Molasses or brown sugar is definitely needed
