Tabasco is a pepper sauce with a very distinct taste that is significantly different from Franks/Texas Pete/Crystal/etc.

Generally if people want Tabasco, they ask for Tabasco.

Depends on the region. In Cali, I would say Louisiana Hot Sauce

Tabasco and Sriracha are stand-alone entities, IMO. To me, it would be weird if I asked for hot sauce and received either of those.

Sriracha is clearly devil extract so that's different. Tabasco for me is included in my book

I don't think there is ONE. But any Cayenne Pepper sauce, with a name, will do.

But I don't see any one more than the other while out

Co-sign. First time I ate sriracha was with sushi. I hallucinated that night, and I know it wasn’t because of the seafood.

It's still spicy but not untolerable. I've had spicier
