Glad to see Coop's ahead of Phil's here. I keep telling y'all... anyone going to SD area, skip Phil's and go straight to Lemon Grove.

i was | | close to trying Franklin in Austin... but no success.

Little Miss BBQ in Phoenix was hard because they closed at 5 everyday and I'd be working.

Fire must-try spots in San Diego?

Will be out there tomorrow for a week.

Any dope Japanese hibachi or steak/seafood spots? Anything really.

Yeah, a cart making the list is funny. It's the only place on the list i've gotten food from. If it wasn't for the sauce then it'd just be some pretty good ground up lamb and pieces of chicken with orange rice. Seems like most of nt hates mayo so they'd hate the white sauce.

Put me on too.

Flying out there next week.

Sushi - if you want more traditional, Sushi Ota ($$$). if you want rolls and a more hip vibe, Harney.

Carne asada fries - people like Lolita's. I personally like Cotixan or Super Sergio's.

Mariscos - New spot by my place called El Trebol has solid, cheap ceviche. Lots of people go to Oscar's.

BBQ - Everyone goes to Phil's so I'd go if I were visiting. It's pretty solid. I like the brisket at Iron Pig (which usually has a really good taplist too).

Honorable mentions - Lucha Libre for the surf & turf burrito. Tajima for late night ramen (open til 3am on Fri & Sat), Jinya I think is better though. Carnitas' snack shack for the pork belly appetizer.

Word up y'all, good looks to each of you!

Will be getting down on the spots recommended. Will report back.

Man that list is looking suspect. I been to 4 of them. Langer's, Ike's, Wally's, & Gen. Out of those 4 only Langer's is truly special. Gen is fun to drink & hangout with friends. I don't even know wth Ike's and Wally's is on the list for? They're barely better than fastfood.

What kind of African food is that? I had Senegalese food before. The bomb *** chicken yassa with a really hot scotch bonnet sauce.
