FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

The NYC-to-Montauk pipeline is real.

Having been to Roberta's a few times, I think it's PRETTY good. Not my favorite pizza in the city, but a good Neapolitan-style pie and a good spot to post up and have a drink.

Will hopefully check it out this summer.
I went once like 10 years ago before a Jay-Z concert at Barclays. Good pie. Still think L'Industrie is the leader in the clubhouse.

The Montauk space looks cool though. I'm sure they'll make a killing out there.

Anybody have or know of anyone with a brick oven?

Thinking of adding one to the backyard.

Seems like it would be easy to put together.

Professionals vs. Convicts?

I've been thinking of building a DIY brick&mortar pizza oven as well... Have been watching a few videos on YouTube... Seems like a fun weekend project.

^are they most known for their burgers?
Sorry I didn't see this earlier.

Yeah they're best known for their burger. I'm not one for thick patties, but I'll always make the exception for theirs. Probably my favorite burger outside of my own backyard.

Whole menu is pretty great though, especially their wine and cocktail list. Great spot to post up.
