Where did you go for it? There are really good spots in the Bay Area. I love that ****. Better than AYCE KBBQ in my opinion.

here in houston there's only a couple of spots
shabu zone and shabu ^2 (squared)

Chili cheese fries often come with unmelted cheese. That steaming hot chili will melt it in no time

I mean if you from here you swear by it.
I know some out of towners who can't get enough of it and have it mailed across the county.
Like everything else it's all on you.
I eat Cincinnati/Greek style chili at least twice a month in some capacity.
I actually prefer take out so I can melt the cheese.

When I see/think of chili without beans,I think of chili that belongs on a hot dog/Sausage/Half Smoke.
