Homemade pasta sauce

steak salad with salad dressing ... I cut my avocado proportionally this time.

I work for Target. We do carry it, and at least at my stores, it’s very difficult to keep in stock. My specific demographic I deal with loves alternative mills, and this is the newest trend as of late.

Was able to find some at another Target. Silk brand. Kinda flavorless (use it with cereal so it works) but I do like it better than almond/coconut milk. I'll use oatmillk for cereal and the latter for smoothies.

Now you just need to cut the tomato proportionately.

Also have questions about that tomato sauce, but I'll save them for another time.
I actually like my tomatoes that size.

Ask away about the tomato sauce. Super basic

canned whole peeled tomatoes
Butter
Onion
Bay leaf
Thyme
Salt to taste

I cooked it down until I was able to smash the tomatoes with the back of my spoon. Then i took out the thyme and bay leaf and processed everything else in the vitamix.

What kind of pasta are you making with that sauce?
Seems really odd to throw a whole raw onion into pasta sauce
Thyme?
Bay leaf?
No oregano? No garlic? No basil?
Learns me.

the ground beef had enough garlic (I mixed the ground beef with the tomato sauce) . I love cooking with thyme and bay leaf, not a huge fan of oregano. Didn’t have any basil on hand. The onion cooks down so it’s not raw as and end product.

Spicy brown is great.
Yellow literally makes me gag. I don't see how anyone can enjoy Yellow mustard.

Yellow isnt as bad as youre making it seem, although its not near the top.

Its great for cutting/weight loss though
