The post a few weeks ago about knives motivated me to finally buy one.Got both of these shuns to see which I liked more, ended up keeping the one on the right.

What kinda cheese sauce is that with the fries

Damn I used to love the lettuce wraps and Mongolian beef/brown rice from that muh****a
Folks ordered the lettuce wraps. Had em thenlasr time I came here as well. The best thing was the Avacado egg rolls. Ordered like 3 plates of them joints

Well my first sous vide experiment was a partial success. I put this brisket in at 155° for about 28 hours then cooled it down and put it in a hot oven with some barbecue sauce (made using the liquid from the bag) for 30 minutes to get some color.

I think I would prefer it a little less done in the middle so next time I’ll try a lower temperature but it’s delicious.

Served with my wife’s cornbread, baked beans, mashed potatoes and more sauce.

For beef, I usually set my sous-vide temp to 125-130. Definitely try a lower temp. The final cook should determine your done-ness.

Got a NuWave Brio Air Fryer for Christmas. @all - school me how to use this efficiently please.
