I wasn't specific enough. I don't particularly like the black/red 12s, 13s and 14s because those are the ONLY colors on them. Black/red IEs and playoff XIs are broken up by the white midsole, and the IEs also have the tan-ish/smoky outsole. The colorways that are literally just black and red always look a bit clunky to me, I dunno why. I also usually don't care for white shoes with black midsoles, the silver-tongue fire-red Vs being an exception.

Doh, forgot about those. Ya, it took me years to finally realize how dope those are. Finally bought a pair when they retroed the last time back in 2016. Still have them pristine and love that shoe. Been meaning to break 'em out for some wears.

"Banana" might not be the most accurate description, but the whole shoe is slimmed down from the OG, and the geometry of the way the shoe slopes from the top of the ankle to the tip of the toe is more concave than it was on the OG. It just looks off when you see them side by side. I'm sure these will still look good on people's feet. The only reason I'm passing is because I'm just holding strong and waiting for the white/reds to drop again someday. That's the XII I really want at this point, and I'm trying my best to stop buying things just to have them when I know I will barely get around to wearing them.

Wore OGs for the first time today and they do run much warmer than any other shoe I have, they aren’t nearly as comfy as the first retro run, they look amazing (to me). I was so stoked I had them on and was super happy they didn’t come unglued.

The white red 12 is one of the RARE instances where a white based shoe is my favorite colorway. I’m a sucker for black and red Jordans, but as much as I love the flu game 12’s, the white reds are just super clean.

Not going to lie, the Jordan XI was my favorite shoe at first site, second favorite was the XII. Nothing was like it. Simple yet so eye catching on and off court. Love the XII for sure.

When those 2009 White and Reds came out. Was anyone in here other than myself about getting them? I know there was a lot of shape hate. But comparing to the recent releases, they seem to fit right in with the rest. Are they that bad cause I dont see it.

My biggest issue with the 2009 retro was the shade of red. Was way too dark and dull, it lacked the vibrancy of the og. Super uncomfortable too lol.
