Dressing Better Vol 2.0

the pants need a major hem....like 4-5 inches. i just folded them under for the pics before i dropped them off.

turned one blazer into two suits

They both look good though

Nice suits man. I would wear a longer jacket, but thats just a personal preference, esp since those are casual suits you can get away with a shorter jacket. Overall, great suits

i think velvet slippers like that either need pants with no break, or need to be worn more formally. the shoes themselves look sick though

thanks man. i actually dont mind more relaxed fitting pants during the warmer months.

i was really disappointed that the linen ludlow didn't work out for me. returned it and overcompensated by getting 2 linen suits lol. just dropped off at the tailor.

Great stuff my dude :pimp: . You gotta post pics when you get them tailored.

On my mobile and couldn't find the OG post to quote it so found the latest one. I pretty much agree with the sentiment above. Slippers are amazing but there's something missing from the outfit but I think the break is the biggest issue. I also think a solid colored blazer would help because it takes some of the attention away from the shoes and puts more emphasis on the entire outfit.

I'm not super sensitive about it, though others might be, but fyi, the term Flip is derogatory.
Really? Duly noted then. Apologies to those who may be offended.

Pick ups today:

can i see more pics of that MJ shirt?

and to those of you who rock LOAFERS....how do you prevent scuffing on the toes on the tip of the sole? do you all have any isues with that or do i just walk weird??

also i asked a couple pages back but didnt see any responses, anyone know where to get some decent sweatshorts? i found some i like but theyre pretty expensive (reigning champ) thanks

I would not recommend those Allen Edmonds. I'm pretty sure rubber soles mean they are not goodyear welt. I hate explaining this process but your best bet is to up your range to around $200. Then e-mail [email protected] and ask for their seconds list in your sz/width (its their outlet). They will then send you a list, you gotta look up the styles, see which one you like best then put in an order. Shoes will arrive in a week. If you do not get a response from your inquiry or just wanna speed up you getting that list, call: 262-284-7158 and ask them to send them to you
