Fitting and flattering are not synonymous.
Very well said.

You can't just "size" up on everything if the pattern wasn't made for you. Conversely with sizing down as well. There are limitations.

Any of you rocking jean shorts this summer? Going to buy a pair soon.

I actually brought an old pair of jeans to the tailor to have made into shorts just to see how they would turn out

I'm not a huge fan of them but I just got back from Europe and they're pretty popular over there. Slim fitting of course. They don't look half bad, I"m not totally opposed to getting a pair in the future.

I scored a black H&M linen suit for $51.64 today. Granted I had a friends & family card for extra 25% off. The black and green linen jackets are on sale for $30.00 and the black linen pants are $34.95, plus if you donate clothes (it can be old towels in bag) you'll get 15% off your entire purchase, so that's (30+34.95)*.75 = 55.21 before tax.

I'm set to go shopping today, beginning to get my wardrobe right, starting off with pants. What are the basic pants that everyone looking to "dress better" should have?
