We got a Black President, Black Mayors, a Black Governor, first Lady Michelle Obama, and how many focused on the black community in terms of school funding? Michelle Obama focused on cafeteria food and wanted to put more healthy foods. Asians, Hispanics, Blacks, Polynesians, Middle Easterners cannot always point the finger at the White Man, especially if the problem persists within their own community.
You don't grasp what white supremacy is as a system.

[thread="629164"]Dude said a first lady Michelle Obama, like he was expected a white woman to be voted in as the first lady. That's how deep his sense of entitlement is. Obama is already married to a black woman and dude is still entertaining the possibility of a white woman being in that position. [/thread]

I don't find that convincing coming from you. Last I checked, you hang with a majority of white folks, have plenty of white friends, and seem happy. I don't see any White Supremacy there.
That wasn't the point...she focused on cafeteria food, why didn't she focus on the struggling schools in black communities? I know you can't be chosen as First Lady,
Nice to see guys here just pointing the finger and making SWS assumptions and ignorant, etc blah blah blah. That's how they like to argue, they insult.
Cool..

Ahhh so one can't be in the company of white people and understand the system of white supremacy? I repeat, you don't grasp what white supremacy is as a system. Keep thinking that racism and white suoremacy can only be confined to individual acts. Glad you're checking up on me though. That's not weird at all.

Son no one is this ignorant and hateful, your racism is literally turning you into a vegetable. Apparently Michelle Obama's whole claim to fame is "cafeteria food".
For the record her emphasis on fitness and better food options in these communities are an example of an attempt to neutralize environmental racism. Poor health choices are a huge public health issue affecting blacks. I've said too much, this is literally beyond the scope of your comprehension. I literally would have a more productive discussion about this with a Bonobo.
RustyShackleford Naw, you took that out of context as well as others, again it was an attempt at slander from the great almighty Rusty who fights a lot of people on NT. I said if we followed European rules, principles, etc, we'd be able to sustain good economy, less crime rates, a better quality of life. And I pointed out the White populated countries that are doing well and Japan and that they aren't corrupt. But you took that as racism because it was your only resort at that point with nothing to argue except point the finger at an evil villain maniac.

But yea, stop bringing up old topics Rusty, this was last year, we're here to talk about today's Presidential candidacy. The fact is, Bernie's not a saint like he makes you think.
I checked like early last year, I mean why have that on your sig anyway? And do you experience a lot of White Supremacy since you hang around with a lot of white folks, you hang around white folks by choice?

My girlfriend of almost 2 years is white. I have just as many white friends as I do black friends and I went to a predominantly white school and I work in a STEM field that doesn't have many black oeople in it. Does that mean I have to be blind to what's going on in the world around me to people who look just like me? No.
Genuinely curious. What is your definition of white supremacy?

But it seems that you're making yourself a real victim of it when you're really not. It seems that you're accusing all whites of being that way, when in reality, like you said, you hang with whites, have a white GF, got a job from white folks, party with white boys. You've been accepted to that environment. You seem like a happy man and a living proof that not all Whites are Supremacists. So in a way, you lack the credentials. Would it be totally different if you live in a predominately Asian, Middle Eastern, Hispanic, or Black neighborhood?
A part of my definition of White Supremacy besides the history, is being unfairly treated by Whites. And it can come down to labor force, it can come down to the social society aspect, being purposely passed on by Taxis, being passed up by college acceptance, not being accepted for loans, it's a variety. But does that mean it's the end of the world? No. Does that mean I as a colored man cannot obtain any of that? No. I should not feel entitled. It's still possible for any colored men and women to have access to those.

Alotta ppl think cuz they never been to a KKK rally or said the N word they not racist ...but will say **** on the regular like " if Daquan on the east side just studied n worked harder he wouldn't have anything to complain about or if he just stayed inside the house all day n didn't walk outside the cops won't mess wit him "Ahhh so one can't be in the company of white people and understand the system of white supremacy? I didn't realize how complicated this subject is, I don't know if I should be proud to be that smart or worried people are that stupid.
I partially blame how America teaches the youth about race. We've been brought up to think racism is simply about white people in hoods hanging black people from trees. I hope the new generation of teachers are making this transition because we are brewing a generation of the worst and most dangerous type of racist. The racist who doesn't believe racism exists and doesn't understand how institutionalized racism works.

You're one of the most annoying dudes on NT forreal. All you ever do is argue with people online who don't support your views. All you ever do is troll, and when someone says something you don't agree with, you post smart*ss images and gifs, with no explanation or reason. You just try hard to boost your post count and your rep. Because NT might be your only means of social life. Your posts are a waste of bandwidth man, just stop.

Going even farther down the rabbit hole, racism is built on the framework of racial supremacy. Racial supremacy refers to the systemic, structural, institutional and ideological racial base that our contemporary society operates within. All interaction among participating members or structures of the society becomes racialized. If and when we find disparate and discriminatory outcomes within the frame of racial supremacy, then we've got ourselves a good ol' case of racism.
Specifically, white supremacy is the form of racial supremacy that we operate under in America. The white supremacist framework has been set in place for centuries, yet it doesn't get much critical attention in the media or in the overall social structure. And therein lies the root of the problem to which racism is tied. White supremacy is a social framework, which means that its basis is fluid, not rigid. Its power lies in its amorphous ability, its ability to change "faces." It expresses itself via different social and structural modalities. The only thing that actually changes is the systemic form that white supremacy portrays takes (through which order and control is maintained). For example, we went from the system of slavery to the system of Jim Crow to the contemporary system of colorblind racism and mass incarceration. Throughout all of these changes in form, the fundamental centralization and concentration of racial power has not shifted. In fact, it has only gotten stronger.
Consider what has taken place in the past few months. The Supreme Court has struck down key portions of the 1965 Voting Rights Act; affirmative action measures that aim to reduce discrimination in college acceptance are being threatened; surveillance and policing of black youths is becoming more rampant; and Trayvon Martin and many other similar young people have been killed because of intensified racial anxieties. Consider also all of the other economic, educational and health disparities that are particularly experienced by people of color.
White supremacy is stronger now is because it operates under the guise that it doesn't exist and that race is no longer an issue in America. So certain rationales become justified in stopping and frisking targeted black youths for nonracial "suspicion" reasons. Or if black unemployment is disproportionately high, it must be the result of a lack of trying because race is not an issue. Therefore policies meant to guard against employment discrimination may no longer be needed. In actuality, these rationales are highly racialized, and they do become institutionalized. They divert attention from larger, more complex forms of covert control. In this way, a hyper-racist social environment has been constructed whereby the distribution of social and material advantage and disadvantage has become severely disproportionate under the assumption that race is no longer a factor in racially inequitable outcomes.
^ Damn this is such a beautiful quote, I had to edit and quote this, wow. It's going to be on images some day."We all have opportunities, it's not up to anyone to hold our hands to show us the way, you have to walk the path yourself. Sometimes you can get lost, but then you'll know what trail not to pursue." - MR HIGHNESS

So your version of racism is when someone believes that racism doesn't exist, it's racist? That's not racist, it's called being optimistic about the future. If one keeps bringing up racism, isn't that racism in itself? For example, Spike Lee and Jada boycotting the Oscar's because no Blacks won. So basically Blacks should have won because they were Black?
That article and your version of racism is just a sign of "losing hope and no faith" and it still points the finger on the White man. And I never said racism doesn't exist, I more focus on the solution of it.
That's a ridiculous argument man. I think it's just entitlement. Us colored people are given opportunities and privileges, "freedom" does not mean we automatically receive what these White people receive just because we're not white.

Since you're Haitian, did you know Haitians killed all the whites on their land? And how is Haiti doing today? They're protesting their own Government, burning down buildings. Because it seems the only true way to rid of racism, is to rid of white people.
