I am a big time college, two or four year matriculation dude. I believe that regardless of the school that you choose, critical thinking skills should be taught.
Example, my professor for History had a wonderful tool to teach through. He posted a post in the class of an African Blacksmith dressed in a loincloth. Big Brother, bald, menacing, with his tools. Prof asked, "What's wrong with this picture?"
So everyone responded with the, he's Black.
Black people invented the tools.
He is not smiling,
Stuff like that.
The Prof states, " This is how racism has controlled how you think."
"How is this man going to invent the tools to practice his trade, yet not be intelligent enough to create a wardrobe to protect his body from the sparks and heat, in order to be a Blacksmith?"
He was my favorite teacher, and I passed the hell out of that class.
This is how they NEED to teach, but they don't.
