You guys are wild.

If we're having a good conversation and she doesn't ask me before I offer. Sure.

It's not even that serious though. If money is a problem (+@#! outta here with that "it's the principle of the matter" !++@**##) youshould not be at the club/bar in the first place.

I like to drink so if I'm thirsty I'll get a drink/shot for myself and ask if they would like one also. Next round is on them.

Never have, and I don't plan to

I'd rather buy my friends that I go with a drink if anything, rather then some random chick who most likely already expects guys to buy her drinks.

There might be some exceptions to this, but I would hate myself if I ever made buying girls a drink a habit.

No thanks, that's a waste of money in my eyes.

My ex used to tell me how she would always get guys to buy her a drink, and then just walk away quickly after, or have her friend pull her away.

To be honest, I thought NT would have my back on this.

But why do you feel the need to buy a stranger a drink? That is my question for you. Don't hit me with the, "It is only $10." That is a ALOT of $to spend on someone that you probably won't even talk to come tomorrow.

girl gotta be lookin thirsty for summat else too before i buy her a drink, na'mean...

I don't see how anyone could object to that.

TraSoul82 How about everyone buy their OWN drinks?

Would you say it is RUDE for me to buy a drink and NOT offer to buy HER a drink?

I heard a female tell me it is "common courtesy" to buy a girl a drink if you dance with her. I wanted to smack the hell outta her after she saidthat.

First time out in a while with the dudes. I wanted a drink, and i was dancing/talkin with chick for a min. told her i was gettin a drink andasked if she wanted one too.

I have a different situation. do you guys buy girls that you DO know a drink (im talking college environment where you knowthe people at the bars you go to)
still goes against my principles

You never answered my question though. WHY did you feel the NEED/PRESSURE to buy her a drink though? I understand you wanted a drink, that is fine. Take careof YOURSELF. But why her? What was going through YOUR mind when you made the decision to buy her a drink?

Pressure of her thinking you weren't a "real man"?
Trying to impress her?

Break it down for me because I don't see how people are so easily moved to spend $ on a person that is a complete stranger and most likely won't seethem tomorrow.

Did you hit?
Get the number?
Get head in the bathroom?
Anything?

Or did you let her get away with squandering another free drink from another dude? Because that is how THEY look at it. It is an ego boost for them

to some people its really not that serious DC...everytime this comes up you go so hard about not buying women drinks...thats fine...but to some people its nobig deal...no science behind it...it just doens't bother them...

I don't buy ANYONE drinks in the club. Why am I buying them drinks? Just because I know them doesn't make it sensible for me to buy them a drink. Theyshould have their own $ to buy their own drinks.
