looks like Deathstroke is going to be in the Batman film or JL sequel as it seems DC has taken back the permission to use Slade in Arrowverse again

Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim has confirmed we can forget about seeing Deathstroke return.

"These are DC's characters, we're just renting them ya know, so we use the characters that they tell us we can use when we can use them, and we work around whatever limitations that places us."

"For a time they were saying 'you can't use Deathstroke', and that changed and we were able to have Slade Wilson back on the show, and now we're back to 'you can't use him'."

I'm a casual fan looking on the outside and I get the hate it's gotten from the diehard fans but I do think it's still a minority...?

Critics loved it. General Audience loved it. More than half of the audience reviews seems to be troll jobs (movie is no half a star, it's not Fan4stic level). It's crushing the BO.

Hell there are bots creating bad reviews for the film and other users making multiple accounts to bring the score down as much as possible

Again, casual fan here and I have no dog in the fight but I just don't think the outrage is as huge as it actually is or at least not big enough where Disney might care and change plans.

It's gon' take a big drop due to bad word of mouth and the film not making $1.5b for them to do a course correction. I guess we'll see if all the bad audience reviews will affect it's second week BO.

That JL sequel probably won't release for a looong time. I doubt it has any bearing on anything at the moment. Doubt we see it before 2021. If the DCEU even makes it to then.

The tone wasn't the problem. It was the brooding teenage self discovert aspect of it. Dude is like 30. Nobody wants to see that.

MOS played just like TAS. The first 2-3 episodes were very similar in tone. If y’all have amazon prime you can watch it there for comparison.

And all he did so far was meet with Lex on a yacht. Plus they got the director from the RAID films to direct a Deathstroke solo. Imagine those action scenes. (Unless WB loses the director... Like past projects.)
