Now how many black people listening to those white people on a regular basis?
The only one on that list that gets play from me is Justin Timberlake. (Forgot to mention him in my post above)

Yet it is greater than a list of black artists getting pushed. I also wanted to focus on acts that can't be misconstrued as pop artists. If you ignore that line, the disparity becomes greater.

it seems to me, hip hop has co-opted much of r&b for this generation...and for previous generations, they likely aren’t all that interested in hearing new r&b from legacy artist. do chris brown, the weeknd, beyoncé, rihanna make r&b or are they considered pop artists?
 
Well to be completely honest, she should be happy about this.
That label wasn't doing her any justice. The crazy thing about that is I just bought a physical copy of her debut album 2 weeks ago.
Felt like it was a pretty solid project, but they pushed the wrong songs. "Aquarius" & "Thugs Cry" should have been her debut singles, not "2 On"
 
After watching the show random acts of flyness you cant tell me the emsacualtuon of the black male in the media aint real lol..but at the same time i would definitely watch this joint with a shorty
